I realize this is slightly late, but during his interview on NASA TV, Obama’s science advisor John Holdren casually mentioned that NASA/USA was the only group/nation that had landed on other planets. Did he also casually forget the USSR’s Venera program? It boggles the mind that someone as relevant as the national science advisor would make such a claim without fact checking it first!
