Epiphanies
I was out of town this weekend, spending time at the beach with some (or a lot of) friends. While there, I took the chance to turn my eyes skyward. I am a huge dork when it comes to space and stars, and I love sitting in the middle of nowhere, taking a look at the night time sky. Naming stars and constellations, and just trying to grasp the shear scale of everything my eyes are perceiving.
One night, I took some time to myself, drove off onto a deserted shoreline, and spent hours just stargazing. But what made this night more meaningful than any other was that I suddenly realised something. I had made a realisation a few months ago, but suddenly, it had sunk into my very core. I know what I want to do. And that’s the best epiphany anyone can have. Now I just need to find the courage.
P.S. - I realise this is a sunset, and not a starry night. But my camera isn’t capable of picking up such faint lights.
